Hi

Just bought a pair of ekstra second hand MkII handsets.

Same SW version as my existing ones.

Now trying to register them with my base after opening the base for registration.
I get the error "Failed". Tried this now quiet a few times after resetting the HS again with the same result.

Kind regards

Brian

Good morning and welcome to Beoworld!

You haven't said what type of PSTN base you are trying to register it to.  The old 'pyramid' PSTN base will only accept a maximum of 6 handsets.

Worth having a read of this also, to check compatibility: https://www.beoworld.org/faq_view.asp?id=74

Hi - thanks!

It's a  BeoLine 1113070 Dk base. It's not a pyramid, but a small rectangular box.

Mk II handsets has SW ver. 2.60 of May 5 - 2006. I want to add an additional Mk II handset with the same SW version.
There are 3 Mk II handsets and 2 Mk I handsets on the system.

There are both Mk I and Mk II handsets on the system. Perhaps that limits the number of Mk II handsets?!

I just deregistered and older Mk I handset. That made no difference.

Thanks for getting back to me!

Cheers

Brian

Found th problem!

This bas will register up to 8 handsets.

There was 3 "ghost handset" registered, which I have removed. The registration now went thru.

Cheers
