I am repairing a Beocord 5000. This is a 4517 and the belt kits listed on eBay are 4507. Are these the same?
How do you get to the flywheels to replace the belt? I cant see how to separate the chassis.
There is information and videos created for the Beocord 5000 type 4715/4716 on the Beolover Blogspot.
And I can supply correct belts.
Martin
I wasn’t aware of a 4517. A USA-specific type?
Jacques
Typo is my guess.
Probably 4715
martin
Sorry 4715 yes
I honestly do NOT believe that anyone (outside of a trained professional) can replace these belts without first viewing this video on Beolover Blog.
I have done two Beocord 5000 4716, and it isn't easy, but doable after watching Rudy's video.
I now have a third Beocord 5000 4716 awaiting Martin's belt kit and bulbs.
Good luck!
Jeff
