Hi people, I am looking for help, I have just gotten a avant DVD tv which I upgraded too, I plugged my link cable in to my 9000 and other bits as previously set up. The tv and DVD work fine off the remote, but it will not fire up the cd or radio etc on the 9000 what so ever.
I have turned off all items, left for ten mins, then all on again, again left for ten on standby, this apparently fettles 90% of new addition set up issues. Nothing changed.
any other ideas or manual setting up from remote ideas etc.

I think your Avant will be in a video only option. Put it in standby, then hold down standby and 'List' on your Beo4 remote control. It should say 'ADD?' in the display of the remote. Move up using the up button on the remote until it says 'OPTION' then press Go. Then select V.OPT, point at the TV and press 2. The LED should blink once on top of the Avant, it is then set to accept VIdeo amd Audio commands.
That should do it!
