Dyssegaard:
I have verified this with a simple play queue with only one song from my Plex DLNA server,

@Dyssegaard: How do you navigate your PLEX DLNA server? When I tested this feature with my PLEX server (QNAP qpkg), I could navigate in the library structure with the App but the only place I can use to add tracks in a B&O renderer is the "by folder" view, all the other are producing an error.

Even if i use different DLNA controller than the B&O app, it is not possible.

EDIT: This is linked to the format of the file, I can play MP3 like files but not ALAC files, I'm investigating ....

BS Moment, BS Core, BG 4002, BC 4500, BS1, BL18, BL19, BL8000 + RCV1, A6, M5, M3, A1, P6 (tks Botty), H5, TR1

@mbolo01:

On the 3 screen shots below you can see my way into the music on my PLEX DLNA server when using the Music button in the B&O app on my M5:

On the last screen all choices except for “By Collection” are working just fine. Within each category I can select a single song or an entire album and add it to the play queue without any problems. The shuffle function works ok, and - as you know - the loop function is always active Wink.

So far I have not had any file type problems. MP3 and FLAC (even 24 bit) works ok.

Best regards - Dyssegaard

Thanks Dyssegaard. I have to look on the DLNA profile side of PLEX to understand why it fails for me. I have seen in PLEX forum other users having issue with ALAC type of files.

FYI: "By Collection" would display something if you were using the GROUPING metadata for your items. In my case I leverage this metadata to group items by labels (e.g. ECM, ACT, Studio One, Deutsche Grammophon)
