Good day all, have a beogram3000 which is in dire need of repair rescued it from a home along with some other items that were headed to the scrap pile.plugged it in and it does power up unfortunately that is all it does taking it to be serviced just curious if it is worth the repair cost which is unknown as of yet.to repair or not to repair that is the ?

Yes.

The usual questions are: which BG3000? There are 4 different models with the same name.

Does it have a cartridge? That is usually the most expensive part and if you plan to use it, worth the money. There is always someone looking for a b&o turntable, even if only for parts.

The model is a 5231 I believe,dropped it off this a.m. for service it must not have been as bad as i thought since the cost to get it up and running was 125.00 u.s. will be ready Monday so i am the proud owner of a bg3000
