Hi Everybody!
Newbie to the forum;
Does anybody know of a source for a laser pickup assembly for a DC 50?
It looks like there is a sub assy on the slide assy and the laser is integrated into the sub assembly.
I dismantled completely the sub assembly and found the laser; a sharp flat pack that has been discontinued.
Looks like I need a new sub assembly containing laser. lenses and magnetic focus coil. Any ideas? Again, thanks for the help.

How can you be so positive about laser failure?
There are so many things that can go wrong before concluding that.
Don’t believe what they say, tens of thousands of CD players with perfectly good lasers have been stupidly binned because of that belief.
