I am trying to connect Beocenter 2 DVD with Beolab 8000  to a Philips TV by a scart cable, enabling sound from my B&O speakers. In Beocenter 2 I cannot choose PL/Scart in the option menu, also turning scart scanning out is not possible. The options cannot been stored in the Beocenter. In V-Opt I  choose option 1 but I am not sure this is stored. Any help?

Welcome to beoworld BOHenk. I connect my beocentre 2 using the aux in. I connect this using a red and white phono cable from the audio out on the tv - to the aux in on the beocenter. Hope that helps.

No problem. Is there a delay? When I had mine connected that way the lips would never move with the voices?? Not a huge difference just enough to notice.

Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000149 EndHTML:0000000530 StartFragment:0000000199 EndFragment:0000000496 StartSelection:0000000199 EndSelection:0000000496 Hi Martin,

I do not have any delay with voices. In the meantime I succeeded in connecting the BeoCenter 2 with my Philips TV by scart. When playing a DVD I do not need the aux connecting anymore. Before I could not choose PL/Scart in the option menu. I send a request to B&O and get the following answer and it works:  in the Menu for PL/scart, press step-up before you press GO.

If I want the sound from a TV channel then I need to use the aux connection.

help needed. I connect record player to AUX IN and list AAUX but I don't get any sound or signal. What could be wrong? Thanks for advise.
