Sorting through my treasures,I found a Beogram 4000.
I bought this machine with a view to restore it,but I wonder now if I will ever get around to it?
It's in good overall condition(in teak)with no ding's or bashes.Everything seems to work.I simply fitted an alloy carriage pulley and new turntable and carriage motor belts,to get it working.
The main capacitors are not leaking yet,but these and several other's will undoubtably need upgrading.
The presets are oxidised of course, and I dare say that the speed change relay will need replacing with one of Beolover's neato upgrade kit's too.
Anyone here fancy this project?
I don't want to ship it due to the risk of transit damage which would be tragic.
I can deliver within the Warwickshire/south Birmingham area.
Open to offer's.
