Just bought a Beo4 joystick for easier navigation on my BV7-40 mk III. The mk III has BeoSystem 3 and is the same as I have on my BeoVision 9, however I do not find the menu choice on my BV-7 regarding the Beo4 where I can chose with or without joystick navigation.
Any ideas?

Beovision 7-40 Mk3 doesn‘t have this Option.
this Option is available at mk4 to mk 6 with blueray player installed

Correct. My MKIII is working great with my Beo4 navi.
Maybe your BV7 needs an update (?) My BV7 has the "later" what I call it - blck face ui -
When you update your BV, don`t forget to update your pucs, too.

I thought the same... The later SW and menu gave you the Navi option.

Yes, your MK3 definitely needs a later sw.
However, only a B&O technician can do that - the costs depends on where you are located....and probably on your relations to the dealer etc.
If you should decide for this, be sure to have your PUC list updated too with the recent/needed codes.
