So my Beovision 10-32 just lost the picture all of a sudden last night.
LED backlight is clearly still on so it seems to be the LCD-panel itself that has gone dead.
Does this mean my TV is gone for good or is a repair an option?
Anything obvious I could open it up and check for myself?

On another note it died a lot sooner than I would expect. I bought it from new in December 2011 and has used as my bedroom TV since then. It had expected it to have a 10 year life span and I’m a little disappointed to be honest.

Thanks,
Lars

I'd be surprised if it was the LCD panel as I've never heard of one of these failing...

Take it to an engineer for diagnosis. I would. More likely to be the video engine or some circuit board / processor.

Often the T-Con PCB at the back of the panel fails. In most cases a new smd fuse(s) might do the trick.

Thanks. From what I can read it sounds just like my problem. Hopefully an easy fix once I get it to a repair shop.

My mood just got a lot better :-)

Hi Beobuddy,

COuld you please elaborate or provide a link about that. I did try a search but didnt find nothing relevant.

Thanks in advance.
