Any one know what a pair of bang&olufsen type k speakers are worth in good condition.

It is one pair on ebay at the moment but I think the price is "overpumped". You can see them here:

You couldn't give these away a few years ago! Designed for tube amplifiers as the power handling rating will be very low. They preceded the Beovox 5000.

Quite collectable and not some you will see everyday.Soundwise not at all as bad as you may think and as Peter suggests, best with tube/valve amplifiers.Type K was the top model. Worth a bit if really in good condition but the price on the Berlin pair on Ebay is a bit on the optimistic side.Not saying that they won't sell at that price but in my opinion 15-20% of the stated price sounds more reasonable.
As with every other thing B&O, Leslie will have owned more of these than anyone else here, I'm sure he will be around shortly and bemore than happy to share his experience in these matters.

Thank you so much for the info on the type k speakers i am now the owner of a pair through family members, did not realise how big these speakers are, don't no if i can convince my wife to let me keep them. i will post some pic soon.
