Hi,
my trusty BM7000 decided to die on me the other day. Today I got around to taking the lid off and do some trouble shooting. It turned out the F1 fuse was blown and after some measuring the D3 bridge rectifier is shorted. I haven't been able to find anything else that seems broken so I'm hoping that replacing the rectifier will bring it back to life.
Now, my question is what to replace it with? I was browsing some component sites and found this one: https://www.elfa.se/sv/likriktarbrygga-160-sil-diotec-b80c3700-2200a/p/17000268 would that work?

If it has the same values as the old one it should be OK, but check if the size is more or less the same, will make it easier to fit it in

Yes indeed,make sure that it will physically fit,but more importantly,check that the connection pins are the same as the original too!

Alright. It seems to be a few millimeters smaller and the pins have the exact same footprint from my measurements.
I guess it's a winner then. :-)

By the connections being the same,I meant + and -,and the ac input.Some maker's have different arrangements for these.

Finally I got the part today, it took a long time to deliver. I soldered it in and everything works just fine.

Thanks for the advise. I recently bought a Beosystem 7000 (minus the Beogram) where the Beomaster was dead. A new rectifier solved the problem, and it´s now back to life again.
