Quick question, my apologies, I'm not very technical when it comes to B&O but I will try and be as clear as possible: I have a 32” BeoVision 10. The following buttons on my Beo 4 remote have always accessed the following hardware:

TV: Our CCTV

Sat: Freesat

DVD: Playstation

CD: Oeverture

V.Tape: Beocord V8000

The Beocord 8000 recently stopped working and in the process of trying to fix it I find that I can no longer access my CCTV via the TV button on my Beo 4. Everything else still works. This may be a coincidence, but I may have changed a setting on the TV by mistake, or loosened a cable, trying to fix the video.

The CCTV service technician visited and established that the CCTV itself is working correctly.

What we couldn't figure out between us is how to get the CCTV picture back and accessible via the TV button on the Beo 4 remote.

There is a HDMI cable to the CCTV box connected properly via the 3rd HDMI slot from the right in the TV as it was before.

What software settings for the TV may I have inadvertently changed? What else may have happened to cause this?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Just a follow up which may offer a clue to the problem.

When I take the HDMI cable from the CCTV and plug it into the HDMI slots allotted to either the PlayStation or Freesat the CCTV appears on screen when I press those buttons. Does that suggest the HDMI slot on the TV is faulty?

Hi,

what happens if you are on, let's say DVD(Playstation) and then press TV?

In the Setup you can select an AV connection and assign the source key (TV, DVD, DTV,( SAT)...) in the setup for this AV port you can also select which HDMI port should be used (HDMI-C).

To get the TV key available the build in analog Tuner (and, if installed, the DVB-T) of the BV 10-32 has / have to be disabled.

Thanks very much for taking the time to answer Ralph-Marcus, much appreciated. I was still struggling but in the end I was able to call on the expertise of Lee (Marriott) who lives locally and was able to pop around and fix it. Cheers!
