Puncher:Supposedly so. Ban boring signatures!
The original picture reveals something in the upper right corner....
Emil Jensen: I saw it Puncher, But I dont really get it, I could guess but can you say more? :D

Nothing at all I'm afraid - I just found the "hint" while I was mooching on t'interweb.
Ban boring signatures!
Hmmm, it can't be too big in size because that would make the Bang & Olufsen text font size huge. That means it is not a TV. Maybe an all-in-one audio system with moving parts.
Love the teaser, very exciting !
I doubt B&O will be back in the BeoSound business, but we can dream :-)
May be a stand alone speaker for TV ?

Olufsen in mirrored lettering?

I do think people are overlooking the Beolit 40 reference!
Dom
2x BeoSystem 3, BeoSystem 5000, BeoSystem 6500, 2x BeoMaster 7000, 2 pair of BeoLab Penta mk2, AV 7000, Beolab 4000, BeoSound 4000, Playmaker, BeoLab 2500, S-45, S-45.2, RL-140, CX-50, C-75, 3x CX-100, 3x MCL2 link rooms, 3x Beolab 2000, M3, P2, Earset, A8 earphones, A3, 2x 4001 relay, H3, H3 ANC, H6, 2014 Audi S5 with B&O sound, and ambio
I imagine its a wifi speaker, with multiple inputs. the panels open to possibly reveal a CD player(the missing link) as these days a CD player is handy, but not necessarily wanted in full view.
Small enough to sit on a small table and easy enough to be carried around
Rob - Danish AV:
My guess is that I’m thinking BeoSound 2300 - 2500 - Ouverture re-hash??
Slated frets pull apart instead of glass doors to reveal what (expanded sound??). Unlikely to be physical media? Control panel?
So far only see this as something nice looking but unnecessarily expensive with money in superfluous mechanisms that many do not want or to pay for traded against economy and sound quality.
Having just pulled the trigger on a wad of Auralic products, I hope it’s not the mythical BeoSound 90?
Robin: Well CB, you have challenged Peter Pan on this one :-) There are two reasons, why I think PP is wrong on this one.

Happy to be called out on this one, but I'm sure someone "in the know" (Roger?) said that that he expected the next B&O release to be a soundbar for other TVs? I'm also sure someone said their dealer claimed a soundbar was coming soon?
Can't see it being a new TV. We're still expecting larger versions of the Eclipse and they seem to be taking an eternity. Can't visualise a brand new TV so soon.
The letters O L U are mirrored ...
... in a glass door? But there is no gap in the "mirror"
... in a TV screen? Does it make any sense to hide a screen partially?
Do the lamellas cover a speaker like the BeoLab 18 0r 50?
Or do the lamellas cover something else which will only be revealed for putting stuff in it? A CD/BR-player?
I'm most references I've read it is called an "object" rather than a product. I do hope this doesn't mean that it's a one off!
I think this is the new soundbar..... Hoping for something more special
Normann: I think this is the new soundbar..... Hoping for something more special
If they are using wood, it's going to be a very very expensive soundbar. Remember, the average person spends no more than £1000 on their TV. I know people who think £500 is expensive. With that in mind, they aren't going to pay more than 2x their TV cost for improved audio.
Can't believe a B&O soundbar looking like the above preview would be less than £2500. It's one reason why the Eclipse is so expensive.

The teasing picture looks interesting... I'm excited to see what they'll reveal.
Mikipidia:@moxxey It’s more likely it’s around 2.5x that if they do one(and this is that what we think it is)

Do you thiink it's 2,5k€ or 2,5 x 2,5k€?
Guess,- The lamels will push outwards and open up like a flower ;-)
Well so that's what the new TV speaker looks like!!
Gosh this is supposed to be top secret.
I hope this is something i could get (understand : need) -:)
I still own a TV (BeoVision 10), and a sound system (BS 5 + BL 3).
If it's a sound bar for TV, shall i sell all, lol ?
Is this a new leaked Picture?
That is a Beolab 50 surely
BenSA:That is a Beolab 50 surely

And looks nothing like the original leaked/teaser image!
Duels: BenSA: That is a Beolab 50 surely That’s what I thought.
That’s what I thought.
It appears to be a crop from this picture.

that makes sense.
One thought of a possible soundmaster. I think it would be perfect and even though i'd loved to have something to play a physical media like a BR or CD I don't think B&O will go this rout again. I'd be happy enough if it has the possibility to connect my BC2 to it (ideally via ML) and get it into a modern NL / Multiroom setup
A soundmaster will be really cool :-)
I know wireless speakers are what people wants, but a real magical B&O soundsystem can't be bad :-)
Like BeoLab 90 and BeoLab 50, B&O needs a true High Fidelity system, even if it's not "fashionable"
At the end of the installation, visitors are physically led towards the present. In this space, Bang & Olufsen debuts a new experience: a choreographed performance of magical movement, acoustic clarity and human-centric design. Sound, craftsmanship and design merge in this new, visionary Bang & Olufsen product as experiences from the past meets visions for the future.
Note to editors: Bang & Olufsen will have several announcements and collaborations at Milan Design Festival. These will be communicated separately.
We can see the reflection of Bang & Olufsen in a glass.
is it the glass of a TV screen or the glass of the product itself ?
Teasing is always fun :-)
While it's fun listening in on the round-table, I think I might have a go.
The glass behind is clearly a single panel, so TV is very plausible, especially since it's tinted as such. Could also just be a screen for touch controls that light up - a-la BM9000... but touch controls for what exactly?
As far as what's in front, they look like speakers to me. The texture is evident of speaker cloth. However, the strips seem really tightly packed, so i'm not sure what kind of audio transparency that would give.
My mind tells me this could be a soundsystem for non-B&O TV's. They probably separate to either side in a smooth motion when turned on.
But then again, that would require a lot of space on either side. And why on earth it would only cover part of the screen is beyond me... That's probably the biggest question from everything I've read.
