I have been on to Franz from Tonabnehmer.de and he gave me a menu of prices for different MMC restorations. What is the comparison between the different levels? Will I hear the difference? I will be using it on a Beogram 3300 powered through a Beocentre 9000 and probably Beolab 4000 speakers which I am auditioning later this week.

Here is the menu list

with ell. diamond stylus and aluminum cantilever € 119.00 (such as MMC 20 S and MMC 3000).

with elliptical diamond stylus and aluminum cantilever € 119,00 (such as MMC 4 / 5 and MMC 20 E with an elliptical diamond stylus (enhancement for all MMC 20 S and MMC 3000)and all other MMCs.

with Nude line diamond stylus and sapphire cantilever € 199,00 (such as MMC 1 / 2 inquire with sapphire cantilever) (previously available).

with nude elliptical diamond stylus and aluminum cantilever € 245, 00 (such as MMC 3, and MMC 20 and MMC 20 EN, MMC 3000 - 6000 with aluminum cantilever).

with Shibata diamond stylus and aluminum cantilever € 245,00 (upgrade to all MMC 1 - 6000) TOP recommendation!.

with NUDE Shibata diamond stylus and aluminum cantilever € 335,00 as MMC 5000 and MMC 6000 (High End appreciation for all MMCs).

High End : NUDE Shibata on BORON Cantilever - € 549,00 - For all MMCs with High End requirement.

When I was selling Beograms as Beo4life, I had all MMC2's refurbed to their original specification which was nude line diamond and sapphire cantilever.

They always sounded fabulous so I didn't use anything else.

I took to my last MMC1 Shibata on aluminum cantilever and ... it's a whole different world, I recommend pickupservice@outlook.dk to this operation.

BeO is like a good wine - the older the better...
