I have just moved thing around a little and noticed how warm the heatsink is on my 7000 even though it hasn’t been used for 2 days. It is just left in standby. I have never noticed this before. Am I going to be faced with losing my beloved soon or worse even?
’feeling worried.
Most likely a bad power supply relay, causing the amplifier to stay on permanently.Could also be a problem in the relay control circuits or a dying rectifier and/or filter capacitor in the low-voltage power supplies.
