My dealer has got a BV11-46 (Mk4) from a customer who upgraded to an Eclipse.
I'm considering it because I already own an 11-55 and this would be perfect to replace the ageing BV10 I have in the bedroom. And I still believe the 11 is the best BV out there for my needs :)
Thing is, it's the first time I would buy a 2nd hand TV so I have no idea what to check/test before committing, besides any obvious physical marks and dead pixels.
Any tips on counters and stuff like that?
Also, the asking price for it (Motorised stand) is CHF 3500 (EUR 3060 or GBP 2660).

Interesting, I'm about to sell my MK4 BV11-46 and was going to ask for less than GBP £2660. It doesn't have a motorised stand though.
It's a very good TV. I have the black-framed edition, too, which looks fantastic. The advantage is you can hide an (old - not sure if it fits the new shape) Apple TV in the back, too.

I recall that the 4K and last-gen 1080p ATV's do not fit, but you could remove the enclosure to put them inside the BV, something I'm not willing to do though (also because I use a lot my Airpods via bluetooth to my ATV, not sure if enclosing the box in the TV is a good idea).
Price-wise, I think it is fair but I think I have some margin to negotiate (my gut feeling is that he gave a CHF 2500 discount to the customer for the new Eclipse). Also considering that delivery and installation are included.

My BV11-46 gets so little use. It's barely turned on. Will be interesting to look at the number of hours it's been used. Since buying it from my Bath dealer, I doubt it's been on for more than 50 hours in total.

Price is fair for a MINT example I'd say - stand & TV combined
Check the fret fabric is unblemished - no snagged fibres - as replacements are getting scarcer and prices rising.
MK4 will have WISA - check it works OK - if important to you
Check the TV interface - DTT, D-SAT or D-CAB - make sure it's suitable for your broadcast source
Check if it had the HDD option - and if so - check it can record OK
Manually tilt the stand to full left & right extents and listen for gear grinding
The back has a lot of clip-on / clip-off panel to routes cables - just like your 55 - the legs can snap off these if its had a clumsy owner. Not a problem unless the TV positioning afford you a rear view, in which case these panels can then look messy.
Only the ATV3 will fit inside - and even then it's a snug fit - the ATV4 and ATV4K are too big. If you have a lot fo source boxes, then the STB System 7 clamp stand works well.
Oh, and check what model of BEO4 remote you will get - there are various versions.
Listen for audio pops & crackles on startup - I have a 46 and a 55 - both from the secondary market (Thanks LEE!) and both have a mild audible click when the speakers get powered up during boot. For my MK3 46 this has definately 'arrived' since I bought it 3 years ago. The 55 - which is an MK1 - and hence older - already has it. Do you have this on your 55?
Generally, like you, I've found the BV11 platform absolutely rock-solid and an amazing audio master / video master. Picture is stunning, and when fed bluray, gives 4K a run for its money for enjoyable watching.
All things considered, prices are a steal for the 'experience' quality you get - esp. when you look at the price fo a new Eclipse or Harmony!

Thank you for the taking the time to compile such an extensive checklist, I really appreciate it.
I was told the 11-46 was installed in July'15, one of the last 11's my dealer has sold. As I got my 55" a few months earlier than that, I expect a BeoRemote one to be supplied with it, otherwise I'll make sure to get one instead of the (more beautiful but less functional) Beo4 which I use with my BV10.
After 4 years of usage, I do not get any crackling noises when powering on the 11-55 speakers, neither the built-in nor the WISA-connected BL18/19's. Hopefully it stays that way.
In the bedroom, the 11-46 will be connected to 2 wired BL6002, so WISA is not needed but it's obviously good to have for the future. BTW, 4 years in I cannot find a way to have WISA and a 5Ghz network in the same room working at the same time. Tried plenty of high-end routers. It simply doesn't work regardless of what B&O and WISA consortium say. In the end I had to enable only 2.4Ghz in the living room otherwise the TV cannot find all 5 speakers.
Both my 10 and 11 are on the easel stand. I have to admit that after so many years (7 for the BV10) the tilted effect starts to be a bit tiring. I look forward to be able to compare the viewing experience with the motorised stand.
And I agree with you, the 11 is a very good mix from both a performance and design point of view. It's a shame they dropped the ball on such a successful design.

It's yours for about £1500 I'll be selling soon I think. I have to get rid of the BV12-65, too.
No worries ... the audible click is very soft (even with the volume turned up) ... and unless you are sitting in a silent room, you probably would never notice ... but it is there.
I had WISA issues ... but the last firmware update helped massively ... but agree that co-exisitng with even smart mesh wifi hubs that channel hop is challenging.

Saw the TV today. Everything was perfect as expected.
The only thing puzzling me regards the service counters.
I downloaded them this morning before going to the dealer for comparison sake.
My TV (BV11-55):
counterTimeTotalOnMinutes = int,699539
counterTimeTotalStandbyMinutes = int,1321671
699539 minutes over 4 years amounts to an average of 7.9 hours of usage per day. Simply impossible. And we even spent 4 months away at some stage. On the other hand, if we imagine the number to be in seconds we get an equally inaccurate .13 hours per day which is almost 8 minutes, seems a bit low. But even assuming it's correct, doing the same conversion for Standby would give me an unreasonable number.
The TV I'm buying is even worse, with a figure of 1604827 for On and 510183 for standby. Which means 18 hours a day powered on, impossible as well.
My dealer's technician was not there today and the service manual does not provide any useful information, so I have no clue on how to interpret those numbers.

Not if the TV has been on display at a dealer? If they open the store and switch on the TVs they'll be displaying a picture for 8 hours each day every day they are open.

Not possible in my case. I went to pick it from the dealer the day after the courier delivered it from Denmark (packaging was sealed and brand new). But it's a fair point for the TV I'm buying as I didn't think to ask if it was a display model.

Yes the total is spot on. It's the allocation that is surprising.
I think I figured it out. The system considers itself to be on when Quick-Start is enabled.
In my case it is 07:30-10 on Weekdays and 16:00-22:30 on all days. (For the techies, 1 = QuickOnPeriodsData,64800,81000,0011111, 2 = QuickOnPeriodsData,52200,81000,1100000)
The file for the TV I'm buying is 1 = QuickOnPeriodsData,21600,86280,1111111, meaning from 6:00 to almost midnight, hence the 18 hours per day which I had calculated.
Still if you add up the invidious uptime by source + TV tuner, the total is more than the total reported by the TV. So this means that I officially give up
Anyhow, by scavenging in the log data I came across this in the beo.log file, which gives the impression that the BV actually has the capability to decode DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD (it uses an Intel driver), but for some reason (money?) those codecs are disabled.
