I have two rooms wired with Cat 7 cable and run master BeoVision 8-40 with BeoCenter  2, BeoLab 8000's and BeoLab 19 sub in main room and BeoSound 9000, BeoLab 4000 speakers in connecting room.

I have two questions: If I adjust sound (tone etc on BV8 it will not adjust the BL4000's in other room will it?

Secondly, if not, where do I adjust parameters of the Beolab 4000's in the other room? On the BS9000 I presume.

Secondly I have another RJ45 wired socket on the other side of the main room. Can I plug sub into this second socket with an RJ45 splitter and will I be able to control from BV8?

Sorry for confused description but I hope it makes sense.

Correct. BL4000 are not affected.

Yes

No, that will not work.

As I understand it you have masterlinked your two rooms using CAT cabling. Is that correct?

You will need the same cabling as I assume you have between your BV8 and the BL19 sub.

I would be using the same rj45 network cable which is now plugged from the BL19 into the sub socket of the BV8 (obviously using an adapter as the BV8 does not have RJ45 connectors). I want to unplug the BV19 from the BV8 and take it to the other side of the room where there is a socket and plug the BL19 into the socket. This socket is on the line taking audio to the connected front room.
