Hello, a friend of mine complains that his Beolab 17 rattles a lot and that they seem to be badly designed. I haven’t experienced that when I’ve listened to them and I’ve been considering replacing my office Beolab 4000 with 17s sometime perhaps.

Have any of you had any issues like this? He has them wall mounted.

Beolab 50, Beolab 8000 x 2, Beolab 4000 x 2,
BeoSound Core, BeoSound 9000, BeoSound Century,
BeoLit 15, BeoPlay A1, BeoPlay P2, BeoPlay H9 3rd Gen, BeoPlay H6, EarSet 3i,
BeoVision Eclipse Gen 2 55", BeoPlay V1-40,
BeoCom 6000 and so much else :)

Tighten the wallmount to begin with? Never heard of this befor... maybe have a look at the speaker fret and see if it has come loose?

Also found it odd. He seems to be under the impression that the speakers are wrongly designed and that he hasn’t noticed before due to only using them as surround speakers. I also asked if it was the wall mount but he say it isn’t.

...or perhaps one of the end caps is not sitting properly in its place?
