Sure, some people will know!

But they are not allowed to tell anything.....whether what or if or when.

However, watch out for postings here.

I am sure any news will be on Beoworld asap.

No idea when, though from what I understand, it is supposed to be a relatively basic product.

In other words, it will (like Play products) be sold in regular retailers.

The more fully equipped BS5 / sound center type of thing is unlikely this year.

I wouldn’t mind this if it has multi room integration as I wish to upgrade my kitchen v1 to oled....

No more hot water left - all spend on the Harmony 😉

Interestingly, Bowers & Wilkins have announced a bunch of multiroom speakers today, including a sound bar.

The soundbar itself is multiroom, 240W, but uses optical only and not HDMI for connecting to a TV.

If, as Roger posted on the Harmony thread I think, the supposed B&O equivalent is in broadly the same price range, it may well be similarly specced.

If a soundbar doesn't have a Line in, then it can't be used as center channel, right?

Or does anyone know a receiver that outputs each channel in optical?

I hope the soundbars have HDMI CEC

if the soundbars have HDMI CEC and can communicate with the tv, one of the soundbars and a beoremote one is bought, otherwise i can't see any added value
