Hello,

has anybody an Idea how I could deactivate the small Lamp under the Speaker at the top of the Beosound 1? The Beosound stands in my bedroom and this lamp is to bright in the night.

Thanks

Chris

Unfortunatly not.

That is the same with almost all the speakers that B&O insist to have a lamp glowing.

Should be a simple thing to introduce a "night mood".

Email B&O and let them know.

Is it possible to disconnect the lamp?

On the Beolab 20, Beolab 18 etc the light goes out after a few seconds and only lights up as it turns on or off or is in safe mode. The older models these replaced however always had a light.

On a side note. When Apple introduced iMac G5, the first flat iMac (without a globe foot) they got complaints from students because their dorm rooms would be to light with the iMacs sleep pulsating light indicator. Apple responded by a firmware fix that allows the illumination to shine less bright when the room light level is less than in daytime, using the light sensor primarily used (and only for, before) the monitor. Smile

Should be very simple indeed as they already control the color and the intensity
