Hi!

I have a 10-46 conected to 2 BL 8000 and 2 BL 6000 ( as rear). Since the distance is quite long to rear speakers I have them interconected ( BL 6000). So far so well, everything was working well.

Yesterday I tried to switch the BL 6000 to a pair of BL 4000 using same type of conections and I received a broom from the speakers and a "pop"everythime I change something.

Can you help me why is it happening?

Thank you!

P.S. I changed the type of speakers in bv 10 setup.

Are the 4000s newer ice powered versions whereas the 6000s are older non ice powered? If so the cables may be the problem. I have a similar problem if I try to connect my Beolab 9s as rears using the same cables I have for the current (older version) 4000s.
