Beovision 5

Hi could I please have some advice, my lovely big old 5 has gone funny on me, it has decided somehow to enlarge the screen so much i can only see the top left corner of the picture displayed on to the screen, no matter what i try I cannot seem to return it to normal, Do you think its developed a fault or im over looking something? thank you

anyone have any ideas please? i cant bring myself to get rid of it

The only things I can suggest are to:

1) Go into the service menu and do a factory reset of the picture settings (geometry, etc.)

2) Try changing the screen format (1, 2, 3...). Make sure you’re not in “stretched” mode.

Beyond that, I’m not sufficiently technical. Sorry.

some great advice, although i dont think it has a factory reset option, i cant find one anyway. i think you have hit the nail on the head that somehow the geometry settings have changed. could anybody tell me the correct geometry settings please?
