Hello,
So I noticed that the record was playing a bit too quickly, so I tried to adjust this by rotating the wheel on the bottom lefthand corner (see picture). Something clicked and now the record won't spin unless I turn the wheel all the way to the right, and then it only plays way too fast.
I'm hoping I haven't broken anything. Does anybody have any tips?
Thanks
Jon
Most likely the speed changing mechanism has seized in dried lubricants. That's very common.

For fine tuning of the speed there is a adjust wheel on the left side of the Beogram 1203:

Ah, bother. Wish I'd known about that wheel before I started fumbling with the main speed setting. Hopefully I haven't damaged anything permanently. Will take another look tonight. Thanks all for the replies!
Hi Martin,
Is this fairly straightforward to fix? What's the process? I guess I need to open it up to take a look inside. A little nervous to do this as I have no experience maintaining turntables!
