I currently connect my turntable through a phonostage to my Beosound 9000 then on to a pair of Belab 4000s.
I recently picked up a pair of Beolab 6000s and after replacing the woofers I've swapped them out for the Beolab 4000s. I'm looking at moving the turntable to a separate room and connecting "direct" to the now spare Beolab 4000s. So I'm looking for suggestions as to some kind of inline way of controlling the volume as both my phono-stage (Cambridge) and turntable (Linn) have no way of controlling the line out level.
thanks
DavidC
Any of the Beomaster's- 3500/4500/6500/7000* as these all have line level phono inputs, which will accept the output from your Cambridge pre-amp.All these Beomaster's have Powerlink connections for your BL4000's too.
All these Beomaster's have remote control of course, and will function with the handset(Beo4?)that you use with your BS9000,but the 3500/4500 also have manual touch sensitive controls for all functions.
You will need an adaptor cable to convert the RCA connectors from your Cambridge pre-amp to the Din input connection of the Beomaster's.I'm sure that Steve(Sound's Heavenly) can help with that
