Hi guys,

I just sold my setup of Two BL 3s and a BL 2, and bought a set of Two BL 9s instead. Wanted to upgrade the sound experience. I am happy with the 9s, but I miss some bass... Maybe I got a bit too used to the BL 2.

So now I am thinking of getting a sub again to complement the 9s. Does the BL 11 make any difference at all playing with the 9s? Or am I better off geting a BL 2 again? Or maybe I should just get used to the 9s as they are...

Best regards

I have 9’s in my home cinema set up, don't really feel the need for a sub, having said that I’ve never heard a lab 2. Fairly confident in saying that an 11 wouldn’t shift enough air to make a blind bit of difference though.Lab 9’s have two bigger bass drivers already between them.

I have BL9 as front and BL4000 as rear and I used to have the BL2 as sub as well.

In some movies you will experience the lower rumble of the BL2, but I have since moved the BL2 to be used with my BL3’s as I honestly think the pure bass of the BL9 is enough. Especially with music, the BL9 bass is much preferred compared to BL2.

But the rumble of the BL2 in movies is awesome though. Especially in the movie Super 8 when the train crash happens, around 15 Minutes in the movie Big Smile

And. Agree on the BL11 comment, BL11 cannot be compared to the 400W bass in each of the BL9.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think the 11 looks great, though. But may just stick with the 9s as they are. In some time I may not need the BL 2 anymore.
Thanks for your replies guys.
