There are guided tours to B&O factory and Struer B&O museum on August 9 2019, English tour at 9 am, Danish tour 1 pm. The Danish tour is fully booked, the English tour open.
Until now there are 12 members signed up, Danish tour: 1 pm. Steffen, Dennis, skolesen, Millemissen, Square4, Hans-Henrik, Rudi. English tour 9 am: Michael, Emil Jensen, Soren Mexico, Beoice, Kuyttendaele

Collecting Vintage B&O is not a hobby, its a lifestyle.
Søren Mexico: My idea is to get more members signed up and then maybe we can get B&O to make a special tour for Beoworld members. As the 8 members already has bought tickets and organized travel this has to be August 9. If we get more members signed up and 9 LEE pull some strings maybe B&O can make a tour for us on this same day, and after the tour we can get together for some nice B&O talk

Soren, I have a 1200km Paris Brest Paris starting just after your event.
Being true to the slippers and pipe Beotype - I will ride it on a 50 year old bicycle :-)
So the plan is 50 year old bike with a 60 year old (who still drinks like a 20 years old) finishing in 70 hours.

I would be interested in the Beoworld tour 2019 as well as I will already be in Denmark at that time. Would be a two hour drive from Ebeltoft to Struer.
Two years ago I visited the museum the last time and 2007 I last met the Beoworld people at the factory tour organized by Lee.

Beoworld tour 2019 is not a tour organized by Beoworld, just a get together organized by members with tickets for the guided tours, these tours are organized by B&O and Struer museum.

There are only 20 tickets for each tour.
Until now 4 members have bought tickets for the English tour and 6 member for the Danish tour.

Depending on the number of sign ups we will try to get a separate tour for Beoworld members on August 9.
If we dont get enough sign ups, come anyway, just the museum is worth a trip. I was there 3 years ago and for vintage enthusiast it is a dream come through. The museum is open from 11:00 to 17:00
After the English tour the members can do some shopping or just relax until the Danish tour finishes, there are shops (also a B&O shop) and street cafes within walking distance from the museum.
When the Danish tour ends we will meet at the museum and I will find a place where we can get together to know each other and get some serious B&O conversation going.
Lets hope that Frede from Classic Audio can join us after the tours, already signed up is Henrik from Pickup service Copenhagen who can inform us about what he do and how to.
If you come from far away or want to stay over night Struer Grand Hotel is within walking distance to everything.
There are various B&Bs around Struer and Air B&B also a possibility
So sign up or buy a ticket and end of this month we can get organized

Maybe because the tours are already booked out?
They are (also) meant for tourists - not just for Beoworlders.
The whole format of the Struer museum website has changed, the tour somehow disappeared. I will check frequently to see if it comes back.
Until then sign up here and I will contact the museum end of this month

Sorry gentleman I have to cancel, a job in Ecuador came in. I hope one from the Danish group will arrange so you can meet each other after the Danish tour, I was really looking forward to meet all of you, but business comes first. Just a little update for Friday 9. august. As far as I can count, we are:
Danish tour: Skolesen (+1), Dennis, Millemissen, Square 4, Hans-Henrik, Emil Jensen, Rudi Pedersen and me (Steffen) =9
English tour: Kyuttendale, RaMaBo, Beoice, Michael and Xavieritzmann (+1) =6.
Anybody that I have forgotten?
