does anyone know if a BeoGram 6000 fits in the left opening of a B&O MC40?

Of course that is the very rare, nay, practically priceless 4001 with matching 4401!! And my ancestor above it!!

And even more amusingly. the picture of the Beogram 6000 you have posted is actually the same deck as the 4001 (the 4401 existed - the 4001 was what I did with the 6000 after it came back very corroded from a trip to Bellac. Still working and still in the MC40 though thank heavens that wallpaper is but a distant memory!
