Hey Guys,

Strange one this.

While listening to music on my BS9000 the sound stopped mid song. My BS9000 MK3 is connected to via masterlink to my BV10-40 that my BL8000 speakers are connected to.

Tv works fine in all other areas with sound and hdmi inputs etc...The BS9000 no longer responds to the remote. I have tried resetting the BV10-40 and changing the options on both. I’ve now tested the BS9000 on an old MX4000 via masterlink and everything works fine.

So this leads me to believe there is an issue on my BV10-40.

Any help and advise or ways to test further would be greatly appreciated.

:-) Joe

It seems the masterlink module in your tv failed and needs to be replaced. I have seen this once in a 10-40 tv please check in the service menu of the tv if there is some module information visible. This can be found under “monitor information” there’s a point that says “system module” if it shows “n/a” next to this point it can’t recognize the module and it needs to be replaced.

It’s says 20.05

mine is a MK1 and has an Ethernet and a USB socket. Can the software be updated via this? Would that be a possible fix?

Sorry to be a bit 'basic' - but...  have you tried turning all products off at the mains for 5-10 minutes, all at the same time, then powering them all back on (TV first, then if it doesn't work, do it all again, then turn on the 9000 first).

Has solved countless ML issues for me over the years.
