For some reason I've happily bought myself an HDR2 without thinking...

Question has anyone updated their HDR2 tuner to digital, is it just swapping out tuner boards and anyone increased their memory size ?

thanks....

Wouldn’t it be better I use the money on a tv with digital tuner? Most tv’s also comes with recording to usb stock or hard drive.

The HDR2 records in SD quality, so it is as an ancient relic (I am impressed if someone gets the reference).

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"

Yes I could and it would be cheaper but where would the fun be.... I just like saving old relics, maybe that's why I eat so many Edamame beans lol
