Greetings new guy who just purchased one of my longtime wanted speakers, penta. After spending lots of looking I have to say I am mostly confused about what B&O vintage gear, other than those listed in the product description on this site, that I can use with my active speakers. I think I am correct that I need to use power link to connect but not sure I'm clear on much help. Hoping someone can lead me in the right direction for a great vintage receiver to match up with my Penta's. Thanks for your patience.

Hello and Welcome!

BeoCenter 9300 or 9500 is what I'd choose personally.

Failing that, a BeoMaster 4500.

However, that's only my opinion - you'll get plenty more on here!! Wink

I like the look, sound, and flexibility of the pizza box systems. Depending on which Pentas you have, the 5500 and higher could be a perfect fit.

Ok, then with no powerlink on the Pentas, the 5500 and higher would be just fine.

You want a system with “speaker link” option for the full use of the display in the Mk1 penta. Like Dom said, a 5500 system would be nice. Or maybe a Beocenter 9000?
