Hi all,

I have a rather annoying issue that b&o are currently looking into for me and I wondered whether anyone else has seen or has this same problem while I wait for a reply from them.

In my setup I have a:

- BV11 (hardwired Ethernet)

- BS Essence Mk2  (hardwired Ethernet)

- NL/ML converter (hardwired Ethernet) as Audio master connected to various ML speakers and an Avant 32 (CRT) as Video master.

[CD source on masterlink is mapped to 'Music' on the Essence through the converter]

If I start Deezer playback on the essence using the b&o app and press CD on the masterlink side, the ML speaker turns on, but no music plays until the next deezer track plays on the essence. I either have to wait or press next track on the b&o app to get it to join.

Exactly the same thing happens on the BV11 if I use the remote and source list to select Essence 'Music' source. on the screen it shows 'connecting...' until the next track plays.

However if I use the b&o app to join the BV11 to the essence then it joins and plays mid playback. Likewise if I use the JOIN feature in the source list. I can't do this for the masterlink speakers though.

If the essence is off then I can press CD on the masterlink side and Deezer starts playing as expected.

TuneIn is mapped to Radio, and the Line in on the Nl converter to A.MEM on the ML side and I don't have any problems joining these source from the bv11 or ML speakers.

So it appears to me that the join to 'Music' function only activates/connects if there is nothing currently playing of if a change of track is triggered.

It would be good to hear from anyone else with a similar setup.

Many thanks!

Rob.
