Six months after connecting Beolab 20 speakers to a 2014 Avant television, from time time to time when turnig on any source on the tv through the Beoremote 1, a very loud static like sound will come through the left Beolab 20. If I turn off the telelvsion source and restart, the source's  vision and sound will come on just fine again. The problem will disappear for a week or two, then sudedenly when urning on a source, the loud static sound will come back again which can only be corrected by turning off the televison and restarting. I have checked the router, restarted it, checked the cables of the Beolab 20's, disconnected the mains from the back of the Avant, checked for updates; etc. I dont want to have to bring the televsion in for service from Columbus to Cinncinnati, Ohio where there is a B&O store located. I am wonderfing if there is perhaps something wrong with the televsion P1-P5 connections. Any suggestions from anyone for this issues are much appreciated in advance before I have to call CIncinnati for service.

Finally, I was wondering if anyone had any experience in using the Beloab 20's wirelessly with the Avant which I assume uses a totally different unit of the television. Is the performance of the Beolab 20's truly as "immaculate" as advertised with the Avant and also other wireless B&O units and B&O cores located throughout the house. If using the Beolab 20's wirelessly with the Avant is an easy way to remedy the problem, I would like to proceed. Any suggestions or guidance at all would be appreciated, and thank you in advance.

I use BL 18s with the Avant and a BL 19 and BL3s as rears with the BeoReciever 1. I have never plugged these in to the Avant with a power link cable.

I find the sound fine.

Perhaps try it. Unplug and put the speaker in to wireless mode, under neath with the switch and then pair it to your Avant and give it a go.

There was a post in the past here where people had static noises like yours on their BeoLab 20s, so i think it might be the speaker and not the television.

So try the WISA connection and see if it returns the same results.

Cheers, and thanks for your post
