Hi all I have a beovision 7 - 40 to with a centre speaker issues, this is the vertical type. When the tv is on the standby light on speaker goes to green but no sound. Is there any known fault with said speaker. Also there is no sound from headphone socket at side of tv. Correct me if I'm wrong, but should headphone socket only work when central speaker is connected. The tv is hdmi type.

Hi from France,

Hope everybody's doing well...

I do have exactly the same issue with a BV7-32, and BL7.1.

I checked the BL was plugged to one of the 2 powerlinks, selected whatever beolab as center speaker, since BL 7.1 is not available as an option on that TYPE 9328.

The BL turns on when the BV turns on, and it works when connected to a Beosound, I assume the issue does not come from the speakers.

The BV is opted 2 as V-option, which I think is correct.

Tried with some earphones, and there is no sound either.

I was thinking I was quite used to B&O settings, and this is a very humbling experience.

Thank you fo any idea!

Stay safe,

Best regards from the French Alps,

Laurent,

So you have no sound from head phone jack. If so then the main sound board may have gone bad.

I had mine tested found out the main speaker was fryed and the main circuit board had blown to ( headphone jack board).
