Hi All,

My wife & I have recently inherited a BS9000 Mk3 with BS8000 Speakers and Beo4 remote. We have upgraded the speakers to wireless, and have 'Alexafied' adding an echo input to the aux.

We have a couple of hundred CD's we'd like to play too, however the BS9000 will not play more than 1-3 songs at any one time. It will start an album, play a song then stop. It may play 2 or 3 songs then stop. If happens on all 6 CD slots..... any ideas please?

Hello and Welcome to BeoWorld!

First up, clean the glass on both sides thoroughly, then use some tape head cleaner or similar (I use isopropyl alcohol) and a cotton bud and clean the laser head very gently.

If the problems persist, it's most likely the laser itself which will need replacing.

I assume the CD's are originals and not scratched or dirty?

Bkdbnmstr,

please also make sure that the CD drive mechanism is centered according to  it's position (the arrow screws on the back of BS9000 are properly turned),

then please run TM 71 and 73.
