Mates,

I have a BV4 and no audio master on the link system.

I am trying to set up some way to stream audio through the ML network without having to use

an apple tv/v.mem.

The idea is to be able to trigger an audio command throughout the network and stream audio through that device over the network.

Is there any way to do this?  I tried using a beoport and selecting N.Music but to no avail.

I was told that and ML/MCL converter could act as an audio master. . .does anyone have any experience with this?

Essentially I need a black back that will act as an audio master and also allow me to input a source.  .

thanks in advance

MJM

Why not try a Beolink converter 1611 as an "audiomaster"? This is usually for connecting MCL devices like BM7000,4500, BC2500...

or Beovisions like MX, LX ... with Masterlink products. Should be possible to connect an audio source (line level) to 7 PIN AUDIO AUX LINK plug and the Masterlink connection to your BV4. I never tested that setup, but people here had success with this installation...

Hope this helps

Stefan
