Dear members,

my old Avant always shows "Timer" in the display and I can't seem to get rid of it. Any ideas? I've read in the manual and tried deleting timer index to no avail.

Cheers,

Kai

Isn't there a button at the back on top, which says timer? The button sets the timer on or off.

Thanks for the answer. Only „play timer“, I am afraid. That is a separate symbol (PT) in the display, which can easily be turned on and off. The display of „Timer“ is unaffected by this.

Hi

From memory, Play Timer (PT) is the local button behind the display on the top of the TV.

The "Timer" function is accessed via the on screen menu and allowed you to programme an event and then select in local link rooms (Master Link) where you wanted to hear the sound.

Do you also have an audio master connected to the Avant?

Hi Opman,

no, nothing connected, but still „Timer“ is always displayed.

I now know where it was coming from. My TV Software IC started to act up. Can anybody supply me with preferably Software 8.3 or higher? Thanks, Kai
