I would like to add multiroom with a Core to my Beovision 10 with BL 1s as fronts and BL6000s as rears. I see that Almando has a switch that allows two sources as input and one set of Beolabs as output. Their web page shows an example with a BV10. My thought is to connect the front speaker powerlink from the BV10 to the Almando and a Core to the other Almando input. Then the BL1s for the output from the Almando. If I am understanding the web page this would give me full multiroom control of the Core and 1s via the B and O app...no need to turn the BV10 on, and the 1s would still function as fronts for the 10 when it is turned on. The following link is what I am thinking of trying. Only differences between what is shown here, and my setup is that I would connect a Core instead of the BS5 Encore, and there would also be rear speakers connected to the BV10. It appears the switch has it's own app. Once connected and set up would I have full control of the 1s through the BV10 when watching TV and full multiroom control of the 1s via the Core for music without needing to access the Almando app?
Thanks!

couldn't you just use the pl from the core to the bl1's too? so pl from both and just make sure not to turn the bv10 on.

madskp:I have the Almando Powerlink switch for my setup with a Beoplay V1, sonos connect and BL4 speakers. I had it for three years now i think, and it work flawless. I dont think there is an app for it as operation is very simple. The one source will normally connect to the speakers (in my case the sonos). When the other source is turned on (in my case the TV) the Powerlink trigger signal will switch to this source.

Thanks! Sounds like it will work perfectly for me. I read the user guide on the Almando web page and there is an app that can be used to make settings in the switch.
Robin: Mikipidia: couldn't you just use the pl from the core to the bl1's too? so pl from both and just make sure not to turn the bv10 on. I have tried something similar with a playmaker and a beocenter too, also to a bl1 the result was a big hum even though just one thing was turned on. The left speaker was connected to the bc 2, then daisy chained to the right speaker and there I have connected the playmaker. Either solution works perfectly asking as you only connect one source. Whenever the second one was connected there was this hum.

Thanks for that information!

madskp:Ok I can see that. They must have updated it with the bluetooth feature since i bought. No mention of bluetooth and and app in the printed manual i got. Also this seems to add bluetooth as an extra source without using one of the inputs
Razlaw:Do you mind if I ask which of the current models is like the one you have? 1003 or 10021? Thanks!
