Apparently B&W were given a free hand to “think out of the box” when it came to integrating their soundbar with Phillips new OLED TV.

Or they just looked at a B&O brochure from about 10 years ago, and thought we will do that and say we invented it.

65 inch OLED TV with, and I’m guessing a decent soundbar for £4,500. Expensive apparently Erm..

Beosound Stage, Beovision 8-40, Beolit 20, Beosound Explore.

That's like what i had in my room at the Park Hyatt in Bangkok: and it wasn't Philips.

I thought oh good, a soundbar and the TV.  I turned the TV on (the stand was really amazing) and expected to hear the TV but the soundbar pictured in the same spot as the link - was just that! A soundbar for BT streaming.  No connection to the TV whatsoever.

Odd

So, back to the Philips solution - it seems it's a refresh of the same idea - but it's a good look, and perhaps that what Philips were going with.
