Hi Max,
Can you guide me to reinstall wire on the pulleys?
Thanks
Hi,
do you have any photos of the current situation and where exactly do you have an issue? As above there is diagram how the wire goes. You need to put wire on the pulley testing how much of wire to crop up.
Ale the best!
Max
Hi
2 beosounds 2500, and both have issues with the glass, I guess one is a broken cable but for the other one cannot event hear the motor :-(
do you know where i could find videos / photos on how to repairs that?
thanks
regards
I'm having trouble with a Beocenter 2300 glass doors. They open but then they only close around 30% of the way.
I opened the Beocenter but everything seems to be fine. Cleaning and lubrication didn't have any effect.
I'm wondering if the procedure mentioned by Leslie in this thread could be the solution to my issue.
Leslie mentions that this to be done when the "doors are not aligned properly" but what does it mean? Aligned in which way?
I understand the procedure proposed but don't know in which way the doors have to be adjusted or aligned, so which is the correct position to be achieved.
Anyone could please clarify this?

Have you replaced the door drive belt? This cured my non-working doors.
You can get a replacement belt here: https://www.beoparts-shop.com/product/belt-for-beomaster-6000-ouverture/
I just purchased yesterday that drive belt from beoparts-shop.com to replace it just to try something.
I purchased new this Beocenter 20 years ago so in 20 years the belt might have stretched or degraded a bit indeed.
I'll post here the results.
I got today the new rubber belt and managed to replace it quite easily. Now the doors open and close flawlessly as when it was brand new .
Just noticed that when closed, the gap between the doors is around 3mm. It looks to me a bit too large but I'm not sure.
Is anybody aware of a factory specification for the gap between the doors?
Great news about the belt, and at 3mm gap I wouldn’t worry about further adjustment. Pretty sure mine are further apart than that!
Since the beocenter was already dismantled I decided to give it a try and managed to reduce the doors gap from 3m to 2mm which seemed a bit more adequate.
I purchased this masterpiece of beauty and elegance new 20 years ago and I still enjoy looking at it.
It is great to be able to maintain and preserve them.
Thanks for your help!
