Hi all, have recently renovated my house and decided to move my turntable to the kitchen diner where it would get more social use. Came to out some vinyl on with a few people round on Saturday night and it was unlistenable, needle jumping all over the place. Needless to say I’d like to find a solution if I can! Its a Victorian house with suspended wooden floors, parquet laid over the top. Turntable sits on a heavy solid oak chest currently and I can’t really move it as I’ve had all the wires terminated back to it and my moment which it is plugged in to. A shelf could be an option, but id rather find a less messy solution if anyone has any suggestions at all?

Thanks in advance
