Dear B&O community,

I have recently purchased a Beosound century and I like this thing that I admired since my teenager days a lot.

I am planning to link it to some Beolab 4000 or Beolab 4 speakers, but learned that the BS century would not really have a powerlink function.

As this info was quite old and I could not find some newer info, I am wondering if you guys know better.

many thanks in advance and kind regards from Munich, Germany Smile

by the way: If someone has a wallbracket for the century to sell, please let me know Idea

Hi

On the newest version of the century there should be a headphone jack on the back which could be used for this purpose with an adapter. The internal speakers will not be active though.

and BTW I had a Century for over ten years and now have a set of Beolab 4 and in my opinion the speakers on the Century is far better than the the Beolab 4.

Hi Kallem,

STB Brackets make a wall bracket for your Century :)

In terms of sound quality, try experimenting with the LOUDNESS on and adjusting the bass and treble. Owning one of these, I found it needs a little pushhhhh to deliver the sound that I was hoping for.

many thanks to all for the answer-I will see how I get along without speakers now. Should be fine as well and anyway saves some money ;-)
