I have an LX TV in a room with an MCL2A. I can access main room sources with the link command using a TV channel tuned to the link frequency. But this LX seems to just switch off the tuner as soon as link> source is selected. It is not a link issue because I had another LX in the same room which worked OK. I wonder if its an option setting on the TV. I have tried both option 1 & 2 but it is the same.

Hi David,

If the LX is in a link room, shouldn’t it be set to option 5 (if there’s another BFO system in the same room) or 6 (if it’s on its own)?

Thanks Lawrence I will try that. No physical connection though between the TV and MCL in this case.

I have worked round the issue by storing the link frequency in channel presets 46/47/48/49 which is something you would have to do if you have an MCL2AV connected. My other LX TV's don't behave this way with MCL2A's so still not sure why this one is different.
