Beosound 5

Can anyone advise please on the correct way to assemble the Beosound base unit to the the display unit and the correct position to place the very short cables as it looks like I need two pairs of hands.

I remember when I set up my Beosound 5 years ago exactly the issue you are asking about. I seem to remember having a diagram at that time.

The B and O webpage has a document entitled Getting Started for the Beosound 5. It shows how to place the cables.

When I set up my BS5 encore the setup guide shows you how to attach the base to the BS5

It was tricky but once you study the guide a few times you’ll be fine.

Also you don’t need 2 sets of hands.

I had a look at the online manual and couldn’t see it.

I will have a ferret around at home and see if I can locate the printed manual for the base and I’ll send a photo of it.

Hi

I think short cablas are connectrions from CD ripper to Beosound 5 screen only.

One is for power the other is USB.
