Hi

I am wondering how I can connect a Beogram 2202 to my Beocenter 2300? Currently I have connected the DIN cable from the Beogram to a RIAA box where the output cables are RCA to a DIN cable which goes into the AUX entrance of the Beocenter 2300. But this doesn’t give any sound :( I bought the Beogram yesterday and it play well upon purchase and was carefully transported by me in my car. There was some slight vibrations during transport :( :( , not much in my opinion, but can this perhaps be the reason for not getting any sound?

Thank you for your response in advance.

Maybe it is because of the RCA to DIN cable...

The 5 pin din plug has 2 pins for output and 2 for input (when used with a taperecorder).

Some RCA/DIN Cables with only 2 RCA(phono) plugs are either for input or output.

If it's possible, try a RCA/DIN cable with 4 RCA plugs and then change between the plugs to find the 2 which receives input from the RIAA (the RIAA's output).

I hope this makes sense Wink

Ok, i understand :) The RIAA box also have DIN output, so will another option instead of buying the 4 cable RCA to buy a DIN to DIN, which goes from the RIAA to the Aux on the Beocenter?

I am wondering if it should work to connect the Beogram DIN cable directly to the Aux in the Beocenter, just to see if any sound, even though very low volume, is coming through?

Thank you very much for the reply :)

Wooooooooow :) The Beogram works when connecting it directly to the Aux on the Beocenter but I need a very high volume to get a decent sound, so The RIAA is probably neccesary :) But what a lovely sound :)

Yes - then you just needs a DIN/DIN cable from the RIAA Smile
