Hi everyone,

I have purchased a Beogram 6000 Type 5751 and I have a problem with it: the start knob is not working (when I press "turn" the player turns and music is coming out of my speakers.

A friend of mine who is building stage receivers was checking, changing a lot of parts on the main board and checking the current - it seems that the mainboard has a problem; so my question: where can I get a new mainboard? Or is it possible to repair? Or any other ideas?

Thank you for your help and ideas.

Have a great Sunday.

Check first the Start contact itself.
If not used for a long time it develops oxidation and requires a much firmer press to activate.
This is quite common for the whole of this series.
Clean the contacts.

Cracked solder joints on the main board can also cause problems, but check the contact first.
