The beotime was great. It was a thing that made the difference between B&O and other AV companies; a bit of jewellery. Not that we’ve ever used ours....

Duels:I use mine every day, or at least every day I want to get up on time. I love the design of it and it still receives very positive comments from anyone that sees it for the first time. I only use it as an alarm clock. I don’t use it to control any other products. I will be devastated if/when it ever dies.

Me too, we have two (our room and my daughters) and use it every day, turn ons the radio and the light to its lowest setting. By continually pressing the middle button every thing including the light turns off. Because it is easier to set and on/ff then the ML version.
A second "alarm(play timer)" is used over the ML where on some days the radio in the kitchen turns on just before we get downstairs.

It is imo a very B&O product.
Beotime and BL12s were the last new things I bought from B&O.
We use our Beotime in the bedroom as an alarm clock every day. It activates radio DR P8 (Jazz Radio) with this unique ringtone, which sounds very wake up friendly in my ears. It also starts a macro on my BLGW to activate the light in the bedroom with the sunrise slow function. The sunrise feature works with LC2 and also with a KNX system, which I use.
Btw the ringtone of the Beotime was created by the danish Jazz musician/composer Kenneth Knudsen.

Bang & Olufsen gave me a Bedtime as a gift. I have had it for many years and are interested in the secrets you have found.
Sadly, the youtube link does not open the video.
You might get a few comments about it not opening.
On another issue. Can you help me to locate 4 rubber holders for a Beogram CD5500/6500/7000.
I see Beoworld had a forum showing these parts but the person is no longer making them.. I have my own CD7000 and now a customers CD5500 in for repairs and I require these parts.
3333016 x 2 and 3333015 x 2 for each repair. I would require 4 of each. If you know someone who can assist me I would be so grateful. My CD4500 is OK, but the CD7000 well out performs the CD4500.

Apologies that I don't have access to any B&O spare parts, I suspect it could be worth trying one of the B&O repairers in case they still have any old stock?
I have two Beotimes, one on each side of the bed. Style wise I love it, the most graceful and elegant clock I've ever seen. Ergonomically, it's also great, it's the easiest clock I've ever had for setting alarm time and such, so intuitive.
The problem I have with it is that it won't talk to my ML Beolab 2000 in the bedroom, It doesn't seem to have a strong enough IR emitter to flood the room, and since the BL2000 is up on top of a dresser/chest of drawers and on the other side of the room, not a close line of sight thing, it won't activate it. Unfortunately there's no other good place closer for the BL2000, so I'm stuck with just the pinging alarm, which is nice in that it ramps volume up and kind of nudges you awake rather than startling you into consciousness.

You gave me the desire to "have one" even if it would be not really useful in my setup. But you make that thing very desirable.You made me regret not being more pushy when I was in a closing store selling its assets and they where two: one in very good condition and another one brand new, in original box with magnet holder and cloth pouch. Idiot me!
@Jeff.I don't know if i could work but it would be a not expensive try: eBay sells very cheap IR repeaters. like 2 or 3$. I've used a few and they are quite reliable. I dont know if they would work well in 1/your specific case and 2/with B&O IR commands, but maybe it worth a try?

Now, i use it in the bedroom as an alarm clock.
I still find a simple B&O product to use it as a timer (old BeoSound 1, Century,...?).
Repeaters might be worth a try but in over 20 years of B&O ownership I've found maybe two remotes period that will handle B&O's weird high frequency IR code scheme. I imagine few repeaters will but I have to admit I'm not sure.
It's a shame that there are no spare parts available anymore
