Hi all,

i have a problem since a week:

I have a Beosound 9000 MKI with Beolab 8000 and Beolab 11 connected.

When I press any audio source the 9000 turns on, the beolabs turns on (green led) but i cannot hear anything. No sound. Same with N.Music and N.Radio, using a Beoplay A6 via Beolink converter NL/ML.

I have the BeoremoteOne BT in Beo4 audio mode.

The converter is configuerd as audio source.

I resetted everything, took the Beosound 9000 more than 12 hours off from mains, but no chance to get it working. This configuartaion worked now  since many years.

I disconnected the ML and changed the Powerlink connections and switched the Beoalab position switch.

CD Player works ok. I programmed product option once more to 1. The headphone jack is  silent as well

:-(

Are there any suggestions what I can check next?. May be faulty sound board?

Hope you can help.

Have you tried pressing the mute button on the keyboard to see if maybe it's stuck?

yes display shows then '--'

Volume up says then e.g. 32 but no sound.

I think i have a big problem not only the Beosound is affected:

The Beovision does not send any ML commands.  In system Menue is says no system Module installed, but it has one.

The ML Gateway does not log anything in the console  from ML.

My other Beovision does not play N.Music anymore.

I think the complete ML System is dead may be due to overvoltage from thunder&lightning.

This is a very very bad situation. nearly every ML Beosound and Beovision destroyed. :-(

May be more, i cannot check all my Beolabs.

Does anyone has an PCB-32 fr the Beosound 9000 and a ML Module for Beovision 8/10 for sale or for testing?

Wow, so sorry to hear of all the troubles. Have you tried unplugging everything from mains and ML. Then one by one, connect to power only, no ML, and test the local operation of each piece.  I'd start with the BS9000 and see if you get any sound from the headphone jack.  Then do the same with the BVs, each one by itself with nothing plugged in, except maybe a set of beolabs, but no ML. Also try the beolabs with the BS9000. It may be the ML gateway that is causing the problems?
