Can't get BS9000 CD to play on BS Core with Beolink Converter M/L

So, I temporarily have my BS9k hooked up directly to my BL5s, so that I can hear CDs.

But, the setup I'd *like* to use is to connect my BS9k to my Beolink Converter ML/NL (masterlink), then be able to select CD (Beolink Converter ML/NL) on my beosound core's inputs and control it though the beoplay app.

The problem is, when the BLC is connected to the BS9k through masterlink, I can't seem to control the CD player.  Selecting the CD input from the BLC in the Beoplay app doesn't turn on the BS9k from standby, for instance.

Selecting the CD (Beolink Converter ML/NL) input from the BS Core (in the Beoplay app) also fails to turn on the BS9k from standby.

The BLC is configured to be ML Enabled, V Master.

I'm pretty sure the BS9k is set A Opt 0 but i'll double check that tomorrow.  Any other suggestions?

Presuming you do not have other ML devices connected to the BLC, try setting the BLC to A.Slave and the "Connect to" on the same page to: BS Core.

Go to  "experience mapped to NL" and enable the (BS9000) CD in the BLC sw (Configuration)

Open the B&o app choose the Core, Product setting, Configure, Settings, Beolink, Link to other products, set the Connect to the primary Beolink to the BLC with the BS9000

Thank you for all your help, and boy, is my face red!

1) To future searchers, *ensure* your Beosound 9000 is in A Opt mode 0 with your remote.  The system is supposed to "automagically" set to A Opt 0 when it doesn't detect a speaker connection, but apparently it did not do that (perhaps because of the ML connection?)

2) Now, configure your Beosound core sources, and add the beolink converter input you want.  In this case, I selected Beolink ML/NL CD.

3) In the Beoplay app now, you should be able to select the CD and everything should play.  I don't see the commands to change CDs but I'll figure that out in time.

Foolish of me.

I can't see any place to hit any digits in the play app, but I'll try to figure it out.  For now a double tap forward or backward changes a disc.

Thanks so much for the help though,

Sorry, the B&o app doesn't show the digits (something we should request). I confused it with the Beoliving app (which does have the digits).
