Beovision avant 55

Hi all

I’ve bought recently an Avant to replace the bv 7 and am very happy with it .

There is only one thing that won’t work, i hope to find an answer in this forum of Beoprofs..

I use mainly the satellite tuner and would like to record programmes

a hd needs to be formatted in a special format to function but i can’ t find the button format anywhere

I do use a hd that is new and unused

It is a avant with Beosoftware, a mk1..

Any ideas would be appreciated

P.S. You don’t use a button ‘format’ for this (that is something different) - you use the menus of the tv

I have the manual read several times. The tv has to give a small menu “ record?” And it will format the first time..

don, t get that message, only after it recognizes in usb the hd it asks “ see content” or no action..

So no further alas..

Could you perhaps post a picture of the Source Menu of the tv?

I have a avant 55 with sky hd box and beremote 1 for me to record I highlight the film in the tv guide then press list press sky hd then auto moves to menu scroll down to record and accept

maybe when you press list satellite comes up

I think the avant has first to format the hd the right way but how?
